Buzz in Ipswich
A Word from Ipswich Family Time Founder
“Founded in 1978, we set out to replace courtroom conflict with compassion, putting children at the heart of every decision. As one of the first centres of its kind, we pioneered a more conciliatory approach to family separation.
By 1994, it became clear that some families needed a ‘haven of last resort’- a safe, neutral space where children could maintain relationships when no other option remained. That belief led to the creation of the Ipswich Child Contact Centre.
Since then, we have supported thousands of children and families, always guided by the same principle: that every child deserves the chance to maintain meaningful relationships in a safe and supportive environment.”
Continuing the Ipswich Legacy with Buzz
When Ipswich Family Time faced closure, we stepped in to ensure this vital service was not lost to local families. Building on its strong foundations, we are proud to continue this work, bringing it under the Buzz Collective providing a safe, supportive space where children can maintain important relationships, now and into the future.

The Vine and Buzz Partnership
The Vine were already providing supported family time in Leeds when a growing gap emerged locally, following the closure of other providers.
We approached them to explore a partnership that would allow them to continue delivering this important work independently, while operating under Buzz’s enhanced accreditation. This includes access to our training, shared processes and procedures, and ongoing support, helping to strengthen consistency, safety, and quality for families.
We are delighted to be partnering with The Vine and to welcome them as part of the Buzz collective, working together to support safe and positive family time for families in Leeds.
