Virtual Family Time
Virtual Family Time lets you spend time with your child online using Zoom if you cannot meet in person or want extra contact between in‑person sessions. You don’t need to be tech‑savvy — Buzz provides full instructions, troubleshooting help, and can even offer a trial session first to make it easy.
Who it's for
Virtual Family Time can be used:
- When visiting in person isn’t possible or practical.
- For older children or young people after a period apart.
- Alongside in‑person sessions when the non‑resident parent lives far away.
It works for both Supported and Supervised Family Time.
Virtual family time can take place within each family’s home, meaning there is no need to travel to the centre unless this is required or preferred.
How we keep it safe
If any safeguarding concerns arise, the Family Time Supervisor can place someone in the virtual waiting room or end the call.
All interactions are closely monitored by a Family Time Supervisor.
When it's available
Virtual Family Time is available:
- Monday–Friday: 9 am–6 pm
- Saturdays: 9 am–4 pm

For Supported Virtual Family Time
- Single session: £21 + £63 admin fee
- 6 sessions: £119.70 + £63 admin fee (5% discount)
- 12 sessions: £226.80 + £63 admin fee (10% discount)
- Additional reports: from £40
For Supervised Virtual Family Time
- Single session: £68.25 + £63 admin fee
- 3 sessions: £194.51 + £63 admin fee (5% discount)
- 6 sessions: £368.55 + £63 admin fee (10% discount)
